It hit me when reading this article at CityBeat: Mike Wilson thinks the Tea Party has been wronged because a cartoon depicted members wearing KKK robes. He has even said the Democrats should apologize. But did the Cincinnati Tea Party ever apologize when Joe the Plumber came to town and said we should start shooting Mexicans? The Cincinnati Beacon must inform the entire community that the 2009 SBE numbers are a disgrace. The City of Cincinnati over 2007-2009 spent over $1.5 million and white men got over $1.4 million! Women owned businesses got 0.5% of total contracts.

The Cincinnati Tea Party was given a list of questions to ask Rep. Driehaus credited to “The Freedom Workbench.” But what, exactly, is that organization? Does this represent local grassroots activism, or an example of astroturfing?
1) library use is at an all time high, 2) the library is using what funds it has conscientiously and efficiently, 3) proposed cuts in library funding will result in libraries closing.
The Governor's proposed budget - with 50% cuts in library funding - would be catastrophic to libraries state-wide. Urgent action needed!
